Any cargo description deemed ambiguous by CBP will not be accepted, which may result in your cargo being rejected or detained at the origin until you provide complete information.
Important reminder:
- Accurate description is essential: When creating a shipment, be sure to provide a detailed merchandise description to ensure compliance with CBP requirements.
- Example: For example, the description should be "children's toys made of plastic" instead of simply "toys"; or the accurate description should be "women's clothing made of 60% cotton and 40% polyester" instead of the general "clothing".
