Hello! According to the notice from UPS, the latest UPS rates and service guidelines for 2020 are as follows:
- Revisions to weight bands and rates applicable to shipments exceeding 20 kg,
- The revised rates include: additional handling fee, large package surcharge, overweight and overlength fee, additional handling fee for pallets exceeding the specified size, third-party customs clearance agent fee, customs clearance agent liaison fee and demurrage fee.
- New charges will include: International Dangerous Goods Surcharge and Non-Compliance Surcharge*, Post-Release Declaration Amendment Fee, Special Clearance Fee and Prohibited Articles Fee,
- Updated terms and conditions of service, particularly regarding item and service restrictions and suspensions.

New prohibited items fees in 2020: A fee will be charged for each shipment submitted to UPS that violates or does not comply with applicable laws and regulations, or does not comply with the UPS service or contractual service terms and conditions (including but not limited to prohibited shipments or shipments that UPS does not accept or carry without exception).RMB1,038These charges are the responsibility of the Shipper and are in addition to all other charges that the Shipper may incur against UPS as a result of the violation or non-compliance.
