In the first half of 2021, China National Foreign Trade Transportation Corporation achieved operating income of 61.677 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 55%, and achieved a net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies of 2.163 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 78%.

China National Foreign Trade Transportation Corporation said that during the reporting period, facing a highly uncertain external environment, the company effectively improved its full-process supply chain operation capabilities, showing a good trend of "high quality + high growth", with a substantial increase in revenue scale and a significant improvement in profitability.

It is worth noting that China International Freight’s e-commerce business and cross-border e-commerce logistics business have shown significant growth.

In the first half of 2021, the e-commerce business segment had operating revenue of 7.679 billion yuan, compared with 2.623 billion yuan in the same period last year, a significant year-on-year increase of 192.75%; the profit was 100 million yuan, compared with 59 million yuan in the same period last year, a year-on-year increase of 68.3%.

During the same period, cross-border e-commerce logistics revenue was 7.547 billion yuan, compared with 2.603 billion yuan in the same period last year, a year-on-year increase of 189.88%; profit was 87 million yuan, compared with 41 million yuan in the same period last year, a year-on-year increase of 104.36%. In terms of business volume, 244 million shipments totaling 87,000 tons were completed, with year-on-year growth of more than 160%.
