UPS peak season surcharge adjustment - starting from November 7

As the coronavirus outbreak continues and the busy holiday season approaches, UPS will continue to operate to support customer needs. Our goal is to ensure businesses and customers have access to the shipping services they need during this period of increased demand for air freight.
To better manage the increasing demand for air freight capacity and rising costs, UPS will continue to implement temporary peak season surcharges on shipments shipped worldwide. We will also make temporary adjustments to our services to accommodate the increased demand during the holidays. UPS Peak Season Surcharge

In light of market conditions, UPS will adjust peak season surcharges for certain shipments starting November 7, 2021. More information is provided in the table below.
Peak surcharges1 are subject to change, and peak season periods may be extended or otherwise adjusted. Shippers should check ups.com/rates/cn for the latest peak surcharge updates before shipping.

A. Peak Season Surcharge - Applicable to all destinations from Asia Pacific to all destinations worldwide (except the areas listed in Section B of this document)

The peak season surcharge in this section applies to shipments originating from Asia Pacific to the specific destinations listed below, using the listed service levels during the peak season periods listed below. This peak season surcharge will be charged at a rate per kilogram based on the billable weight of the shipment, with the decimal part of the billable weight rounded off to the next half kilogram.
