Cixi City, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province is one of the production bases of heaters in my country, and its export volume accounts for 30% of the country's total. In previous years, the peak season for export heater production ended around mid-September. This year, due to factors such as the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and the energy crisis, the use of natural gas in many European countries has been restricted, and the demand for various heaters has continued to increase. Many importers have temporarily added orders, bringing about a round of "order replenishment".
In Guanhaiwei Town, Cixi City, Ningbo, Zhejiang, a company is working overtime to produce a batch of portable household heaters. The company's head said that the customer for this batch of products is from Germany. The $1 million order signed at the beginning of the year has been shipped, but in August this year, the customer requested an additional order of $330,000. It is understood that the company exported a total of 1.5 million heaters last year, worth about $17.8 million. In the first eight months of this year, the company has exported 2 million heaters, worth about $22.8 million, an increase of nearly 30%.
Similar phenomena also occurred in other heater export companies. For example, a company in Xinpu Town, Cixi City exported about 160 million yuan worth of heaters last year and expects to export more than 200 million yuan this year, of which new orders from customers exceeded 20 million yuan.
