The "CMA CGM Nevada" is at the Nansha Port Area of Guangzhou Port, carrying more than 500 standard containers of cars bound for Mexico and Peru in South America.

Recently, the Guangzhou Port Nansha Phase II Terminal welcomed the overtime call of the CMA CGM Nevada on the CMA CGM South America West route.

The ship set sail with more than 500 TEUs of cars, marking the successful launch of CMA CGM's large-scale complete vehicle container export project at the Nansha Port Area of Guangzhou Port.

It is reported that the "CMA CGM Nevada" is over 366 meters long and carried a total of 1,805 standard containers in Nansha on this voyage, which can effectively alleviate the peak of shipments before the Spring Festival and meet customers' pre-holiday shipment needs. Among them, more than 500 standard containers of cars will be shipped to Mexico and Peru in South America.

Currently, China's automobile exports are in a period of rapid development, but the traditional roll-on/roll-off transport mode has insufficient capacity and the global automobile transportation market supply chain faces great challenges.

Against this background, the Nansha Port Area of Guangzhou Port actively explored automobile shipping models, cooperated with shipping companies, and successfully implemented the whole vehicle container export project.

It is reported that Nansha Port Area has dedicated berths that can reliably accommodate the world's largest roll-on/roll-off ships and container ships, and is seamlessly connected to the Nansha Port Railway.

At present, Guangzhou Nansha has developed into a linkage market and export hub for automobile container transportation and roll-on/roll-off transportation of major automobile OEMs in South China.
