Demand surcharge from September 16, 2024 (Mainland China)
FedEx may impose demand surcharges during a period of increased shipping volumes, increased capacity demand, rising operating costs, and multiple pressures on the transportation network.
Starting September 16, 2024, and ending January 31, 2025, FedEx demand surcharges for international shipments will be adjusted.

Demand Surcharges will be determined by FedEx at its sole discretion and are subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the FedEx Service Guide and FedEx Standard Conditions of Carriage for the country of shipment origin. FedEx reserves the right to modify Demand Surcharges, including but not limited to rates, terms, applicable areas or any other conditions. FedEx may also cancel, modify or adjust any waiver of Demand Surcharges at its sole discretion with prior notice.
The above surcharge amounts are for reference only and may vary depending on your registered rate class or price list with FedEx. To find out the actual surcharges for your shipment, log in to your FedEx account at fedex.com and use the Rates & Transit Times application. If you have any questions, please contact your local sales or customer service team.
Some of the countries listed above that are in different geographic regions may be subject to the same surcharge amount (per kg) if they are grouped into the same pricing area under any given rate sheet or price list. Customers who have registered for the ImportOne service will receive a discount based on the destination-based International Import Express base rate published in their pricing agreement. For all other customers who have not registered for the ImportOne service, the surcharge imposed on import/third-party shipments will be determined by the country of origin.
1.** Australia and New Zealand:** Includes Australia, New Zealand, Brunei, Cambodia, Guam and Laos.
2.**Asia:** Includes Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong SAR, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, Macau SAR and Mongolia.
3. United States, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico: Includes the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico.
4. European Union (EU): Includes Andorra, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Faroe Islands, Greenland, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine, Belgium, Canary Islands, Channel Islands, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, San Marino, Spain, United Kingdom, Vatican City, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Ireland, Luxembourg, Monaco, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Sweden and Switzerland.
