According to the official notice from FedEx, in order to further optimize the customs clearance process, From July 14, 2025,Some European countries will charge additional fees for services that customers request to temporarily detain goods and provide further customs clearance instructionsThe specific policies are as follows:
📌 Policy Description
When the customer requests FedEx temporarily holds shipment, and needs to contact the recipient or customer to confirm further customs clearance instructions, FEDEX will charge "Detention and customs clearance service fee", which will be directly included in Duty & Tax Invoicemiddle.

Each shipment Service charge: 3 EUR or GBP 2.5
