New Zealand Customs Goods Fees will change from April 1, 2026.

New Zealand Customs import and export declaration fees will be April 1, 2026 This is a change. FedEx will charge customers the following related fees:

• High-value¹ import (airborne) entry fee: NZD 59.59² (including GST)
• High-value¹ export (airborne) import fee: NZ$3.85 (including GST)

Fee Description

• High-value¹ import (airborne) entry fee: collected by New Zealand Customs and the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI) for the processing and management of goods.
• High Value¹ Export (Air) Entry Fee: Collected by New Zealand Customs for the processing and management of goods.

Note:

1. Goods value exceeding 1,000.00 New Zealand Dollars.
2. The fees include customs fees and MPI biosafety fees.
