Located in the Yangtze River Delta, Hangzhou is known as China’s “e-commerce capital.” It has a thriving internet industry, a high concentration of manufacturing businesses, and strong demand for air logistics. Hangzhou is also an important hub in SF Express Aviation’s route network. With Hangzhou at its center, the network serves Northeast, North, Northwest, Central, Southwest, and South China domestically, and connects to North America and Southeast Asia internationally. The launch of the “Hangzhou–Anchorage–New York” route will create a second air corridor alongside SF Express Aviation’s currently operating “Shenzhen–Hangzhou–Los Angeles–Shenzhen” route, further expanding air logistics options from Hangzhou to North America and stabilizing the international logistics supply chain. In addition to supporting local manufacturing and cross-border e-commerce, the route will help Hangzhou become a “regional international logistics center and global smart logistics hub” and promote high-quality development of the air logistics industry.

John F. Kennedy International Airport is located in the eastern United States and serves as a major international gateway. Its approach procedures are complex, and landing on some runways is particularly challenging. To ensure the safe and stable operation of the new route, SF Express Aviation strengthened its ground support capabilities and provided flight crews with comprehensive ground-based theory training and simulator training. It also obtained approval under provisions including C0035 (Special Approvals, Provisions, and Limitations for Certain Airports) of the “Civil Aviation Regulations of China, Part 121 Operations Specifications.” These measures further enhanced its international route operating capabilities and prepared the airline for additional flights.

Since 2022, SF Express Aviation has added 9 aircraft to its fleet, including 6 long-range wide-body freighters, bringing its fleet size to 77 aircraft. This provides important support for the continued expansion of its international and intercontinental routes. SF Express Aviation will continue to grow its fleet, expand its route network, and enhance its air logistics services, working to keep transport links open and smooth and to strengthen the stability and security of the logistics supply chain.
