Dubai DHL Notice Regarding Shipments to Syria
As DHL's inspection procedures are becoming increasingly complex, our company cannot guarantee the pickup time or outcome. Please exercise caution when accepting shipments. If customers still wish to ship, in addition to the standard letter of guarantee, they must provide the following documents:
- Business licenses of the sending and receiving companies (must be translated into English)
- Passports or ID cards of the sender and recipient (must be translated into English)
- A sample explanation letter (in English, clearly stating why the samples are being sent and how they will be used). For bills of lading, clearly state the intended use of the items being shipped by sea.
- The form required by DHL, completed as instructed
- Website addresses for the sender and recipient, with English-language versions
- The goods being shipped must fall within the business scopes of both the sender and recipient. (For example, if shipping fabric, the relevant company must be a textile company, and the corresponding term must appear in its business scope.)
- Scan all required documents into a single PDF file and send it to our customer service team
- DHL may request additional documents during subsequent inspections. If these cannot be provided, there is a risk that the shipment may not be forwarded.
Please note that, because DHL inspection procedures for Syria are complex, shipments must be accepted with caution. Provide the required documents, such as business licenses and passports, complete a sample explanation letter, and provide website addresses. Ensure the goods fall within the business scope, and send the documents to customer service as a PDF file. Failure to provide the required documents may result in the shipment not being forwarded.
