UPS Peak Season Surcharge Changes on September 15 and 22

As the peak shipping season approaches, our goal is to continue meeting all your shipping needs while ensuring you receive our high-quality service in a timely and predictable manner. Due to increased shipping demand, we will continue to apply peak season surcharges 1 to certain export and import shipments in Asia Pacific. A fuel surcharge will also apply to this charge, based on the shipment's chargeable weight. Effective September 22, 2024, UPS will adjust peak season surcharge rates for certain shipments based on market conditions, as detailed in the table below. Please note that peak season surcharges are subject to change. Shippers should check the latest peak season surcharges on the regional and rate pages at UPS.com before shipping. The applicable rates per kilogram are as follows:
A. Peak season surcharge – applies to export shipments from the following Asia Pacific origins to destinations worldwide^1

UPS announced that effective September 22, 2024, it will adjust the peak season surcharge for certain export and import shipments in parts of the Asia-Pacific region, with specific rates varying by country. Shippers should check the latest rates before shipping and note that the fuel surcharge applies.
