This year, the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day are very close together, with only three working days in between. The Mid-Autumn Festival holiday is from September 25th to 27th, and the National Day holiday is from October 1st to 7th, totaling 10 days. September 20th (Sunday) is a normal working day according to the adjusted holiday schedule.

Two time points for shipping before the holiday
CZL's warehouses and pickup points are both in Shanghai. Goods can only be shipped after they arrive at the warehouse, so there are two key points to remember:
- Before September 24 (Thursday)The goods arriving at the warehouse can be shipped out before the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday.
- Before September 30 (Wednesday)The goods arriving at the warehouse should be processed before the National Day holiday.
During the holiday, the warehouse will not be handling regular receiving and shipping. Parcels arriving at the warehouse during this period will be processed after the holiday. Customers who arrange their own courier delivery to the warehouse should include the domestic transit time in the calculation to avoid their goods getting stuck at transit points during the holiday.
How much slower will delivery times be before and after holidays?
We're not the only ones taking a holiday. Export customs clearance, carriers' China regional distribution centers, and domestic trunk transportation all have holiday schedules during long holidays, which has several practical impacts:
- Export customs clearance queues are at their peak in the last two days before the holiday and the first two days after the holiday.
- Airline cargo space tends to be tight around long holidays, with potential for higher freight rates and clearance sales through certain channels.
- Work continues as usual in the destination country, but the goods have to be flown out of China first, which is causing problems in the first half of the journey.
Based on experience, it's conservatively estimated that orders placed in the last three days before the holiday will typically take 2 to 4 days longer than usual. For orders with tight deadlines, move them forward if possible.
If you want to calculate the cost before shipping, you can check these pages yourself:Freight Inquiry,Remote Query,Additional Fee Inquiry,Fuel Surcharge.
Just a friendly reminder: customs officials in the destination country won't relax their inspections just because China is on holiday. Clearly state the product name ("Product Name + Material + Intended Use"), and fill in the recipient's email address and phone number completely. This will save you a lot of trouble later on.
How to contact during the holidays
For urgent matters, call 021-67892002 or contact your assigned salesperson directly. Don't wait until after the holiday to deal with customs clearance, document supplementation, or address changes for goods already in transit.
Happy Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day! Wishing all our customers great success in their business. See you after the holidays!
