2. Compensation Standards:
Starting from July 1, 2019, e-express mail can voluntarily choose the insurance service. The sender calculates the declared value according to the declared value of the documents and articles to be sent (converted into RMB at the exchange rate of the day, with a maximum of 20,000 yuan). The insurance fee is charged at 0.8% of the declared value, with a minimum of 1 yuan. The mail collection limit is 20,000 yuan. If the insured e-express mail is lost or completely damaged, compensation will be paid according to the declared value. If it is partially damaged or missing, compensation will be paid according to the actual loss value, but the maximum compensation amount shall not exceed the declared value, and the basic fee collected will be refunded at the same time. If the uninsured mail is lost or the contents are completely damaged, compensation will be paid according to the actual loss ratio, but the maximum amount per piece shall not exceed (2*first weight fee + 2 yuan/50g), and the postage paid by the sender will be refunded; after paying the compensation, if the mail that was originally thought to have been lost is found, the compensation must be returned.
3. Bubble counting standard:
International e-Express implements bubble-based charges, which means taking the larger of the volumetric weight and the actual weight of the mail as the chargeable weight, and then calculating the receivable postage according to the tariff standard. The formula for calculating volumetric weight is: Mail volumetric weight (kg) = length (cm) x width (cm) x height (cm) / 6000. The length, width and height of the mail are calculated based on the longest, widest and highest dimensions of the natural outer contour of the mail packaging; temporarily, a bubble-based charge is implemented for mail with a single side length of 60cm or more.
