ARAMEX’s latest customs regulations on the import of commercial items from Saudi Arabia

Dear customers:
According to the latest regulations of Saudi Customs, starting from January 13, 2021, all corporate items sent to Saudi Arabia (recipient is the company), regardless of the declared value, must make a formal import declaration upon arrival at the port. In order to ensure smooth customs clearance after arrival at the port, all express shipments whose recipient is a company require the sender to provide the following information before shipment:
1. Original invoice containing detailed cargo information

2.CR (Company Registration) number and copy

3.AL (Automatic Authorization Letter's number)
If customs clearance fails due to missing or inconsistent documents, Saudi Customs will return the shipment within a certain time.
Please notify relevant customers in a timely manner. Thank you for your cooperation.

A/L description:

Since people keep asking me about the questions provided by A/L, we will make a unified explanation here:

A/L= Automatic Authorization Letter's number, which is a number generated by the recipient's online application in the customs system (https://signup.fasah.sa/register/#/), and is not a substantive document.

The recipient needs to use the following information when applying online, and the A/L application can set a validity period, and the same number can be reused for different tickets within the validity period.

Therefore, the "file not number" mentioned in the following notice is for CR. A/L only needs to upload the A/L Number. Please explain it to the sender.
