FEDEX peak season surcharge renamed - starting from November 2

The “Temporary Route Adjustment Surcharge” will be renamed as the “Peak Season Surcharge” (effective November 2, 2020)

The outbreak of the new coronavirus has affected the global supply chain and restricted air cargo capacity accordingly.

As a result, we have made necessary adjustments to our operating network, but these adjustments have resulted in an increase in our operating costs. Starting April 6, 2020, we will charge a "temporary route adjustment surcharge" for all FedEx and TNT brand international parcel shipments and heavy freight shipments.

From November 2, 2020, the "Temporary Route Adjustment Surcharge" will be renamed "Peak Season Surcharge".

Notice on Adjustment of Peak Season Surcharge in Mainland China

Effective April 6, 2020, we will apply a peak season surcharge to all FedEx international parcel and freight shipments.

As countries around the world have issued restrictions to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic, affecting the global supply chain and limiting air cargo capacity, we have implemented this surcharge to allow us to absorb the increase in operating costs and make necessary adjustments to our operating network to ensure that we can better provide you with quality services in a volatile market environment.

Effective September 13, 2021, a surcharge will increase on some FedEx Express international shipments. This will allow us to continue to provide excellent service during this time. The updated surcharge amounts are as follows.
