GoGreen Climate Neutral
This service is for customers who need a reliable method to calculate their annual carbon emissions at a shipment level and subsequently offset these emissions through approved environmental programs. The whole process is verified annually by an independent body accredited by the Société Générale de Surveillance (SGS) .

Customs Services
Import express supervision warehouse management fee
Warehousing fees may be incurred if goods are detained at customs due to incorrect or missing documentary information. Billing begins three working days after the goods enter the DHL-supervised warehouse or the documents are handed over to the customs broker at the latest. This fee applies to the payer of destination duties and taxes.
Bonded Storage
Storage charges apply when the shipment cannot be released by Customs due to inaccurate or missing paperwork. Charges take effect three working days after the freight arrival date or broker notification, whichever is later. The charge applies to the duty and taxes payer.
Transshipment
When DHL is required to transport non-documentary goods whose origin is in another country to a destination that is not a conventional DHL port, bonded area transshipment needs to be arranged. Transit transportation is usually operated within a country or a customs area and is a necessary operation step for the importer or designated customs broker before final customs clearance. This service is applicable to cases where the officially declared export shipment exceeds a certain value or weight, or belongs to specific commodities. Depending on the customs declaration conditions of different shipping countries, the shipper can avoid this fee by making an online declaration.

Multiple entry customs clearance entry
When the item entries in the import declaration form exceed 5 lines, entry fees will be charged for the additional lines. For example, a shipment may contain multiple items or multiple invoices. All items must be classified according to their respective customs tariff codes.
Multiline Entry
A service charge will be assessed for multiline item entries with more than five lines. An example would be – one shipment with multiple products or multiple invoices. All products require identification and must be classified under separate harmonized tariff numbers.
Documents handed over to customs broker
At the request of the importer, customs clearance documents are handed over to a third-party independent customs broker to handle customs clearance. After customs clearance is completed, DHL will continue to be responsible for delivery. After the customs clearance documents are handed over,
DHL is no longer responsible for the timeliness of submission of clearance documents to customs or release of goods.
Broker Notification
At the importer's request, DHL will provide the necessary paperwork to the customer's designated broker to perform the import clearance and resume the delivery to the final destination once the clearance is completed. DHL is subsequently not responsible for the timeliness of the submission to customs or for the release of the shipment.
Shipment handed over to customs broker
At the importer's request, DHL hands over the shipment and customs clearance documents to the customer's designated customs broker. The customs broker is responsible for shipment delivery.
Release to Broker
At the importer's request, the release of a DHL Express shipment to the customers designated customs broker of choice. DHL will transfer the responsibility for a shipment and related customs documentation to the customer's nominated broker for clearance and last mile delivery.
Manual inspection
This surcharge applies when customs physically inspects the shipment. Arrangements for manual inspection include unloading all or part of the goods from the vehicle, making special inspection marks on specific items/packaging, customs cutting samples of the goods, or inspecting the contents of the items.
Physical Intervention
A surcharge applies for shipments being intercepted for physical examination by customs authorities. Arrangements for inspections may also include full or partial unloading of a vehicle, the specific marking of prototypes, mutilation of samples or the examination of shipment content.

Fuel Surcharge
This surcharge is based on the billed price per shipment and any shipping-related surcharges. Fuel Surcharge
This variable surcharge is applied to the weight charge of each shipment and any transportation related surcharges. It is derived from publicly available fuel oil indices that are also shown on the DHL Express website at https://mydhlplus.dhl.com/cn/en /home.html. The charge is calibrated every month to the oil price that was current two months prior to the billing month. The Fuel Surcharge applies to domestic and international shipments.
Remote area surcharge
This surcharge is imposed when the shipment is sent or delivered to a remote area or an area where express delivery service is not available. The remote area surcharge applies to international shipments.

Extra long shipment surcharge
For each single piece of parcel or palletized goods, an additional fee will be charged if the length of any side of the single piece exceeds 120 cm. This fee applies to international express and domestic express.
Oversize Piece
This fixed surcharge applies to every piece, including a pallet, with a single dimension in excess of 120cm. The Oversize Piece surcharge applies to domestic and international shipments.
Overweight shipment surcharge
There is an additional charge for each single parcel or palletized shipment if the actual weight or volumetric weight exceeds 70 kg. This fee applies to international express and domestic express.
Overweight Pieces
A fixed surcharge is applied to every piece, including a pallet that exceeds a scale or volumetric weight of 70kg. The Overweight Piece surcharge applies to domestic and international shipments.
Unable to stack pallet surcharge
This surcharge applies to each single pallet shipment that is requested by the shipper or that cannot be stacked due to shape, content or packaging. This surcharge applies to international express shipments and domestic express shipments, but does not apply to shipments weighing less than 30 kg.
Non-Stackable Pallet
This fixed surcharge is applied to every pallet within a shipment that cannot be stacked, either on request by the shipper, or because of its shape, content or packaging. This surcharge applies to domestic and international shipments and does not apply to pieces below 30kg.
Address correction surcharge
When the shipment cannot be delivered due to incorrect recipient address information on the waybill, DHL will make efforts to find the correct address and complete the delivery to charge the surcharge. This fee applies to international express and domestic express.
Address Correction
This fixed surcharge is applied to any shipment that has an incorrect delivery address at the time of pickup and the delivery cannot be fulfilled after making efforts at the destination to determine the correct address.
