since June 19, 2022The 2022 Singapore Trade Classification, Tariffs and Excise Duties (STCCED) will replace the existing 2018 version of the Singapore Trade Classification, Tariffs and Excise Duties (STCCED). The revisions to the 2022 ASEAN Harmonized Tariff Schedule (AHTN) include:

1. Create, delete and merge HS code sub-items

2. Create new non-dutiable HS codes for selected goods that were previously classified as dutiable HS codes

3. Quantity units are specified for HS codes, which were not specified in previous STCCED versions.

After STCCED revision, The HS coded quantity unit must be declared in all import and export license applications in Singapore and must be consistent with that declared on the commercial invoice..
