Starting March 4, 2025 (EST), all products originating in mainland China and Hong Kong, China with a customs value of more than $800 will be subject to an additional tariff of 10%; unless these products meet the de minimis threshold.

This means that the total amount of additional tariffs applicable to products originating in mainland China and Hong Kong, China, will reach 20% on top of the existing tariffs and taxes before February 1, 2025.

In addition, an additional tariff of 25% will be imposed on products originating from Canada and Mexico, while a tariff of 10% will be imposed on Canadian oil.

at present,Products originating from mainland China, China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Canada and Mexico will continue to enjoy temporary de minimis duty-free thresholds until "adequate systems are in place to fully and expeditiously process and collect tariff revenues." Therefore, we strongly recommend that customers who need to ship products originating from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Canada and Mexico provide the 10-digit HS Code and Manufacturer Identification Number (MID) for eligible shipments.


For all shippers shipping to the United States, we strongly recommend that you:

1. For all products: Please provide the 10-digit HS code for all products originating in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Canada and Mexico, regardless of the origin of shipment.

2. Goods for commercial use require a Manufacturer Identification Number (MID) as follows:

i. All goods less than $800 that contain textile and apparel products require a MID (except #2 below). All other goods less than $800 do not require a MID.

ii. For textiles and apparel less than US$250, a MID is not required if the goods meet the criteria for personal use (non-commercial) goods.

iii. For shipments of textile apparel products for personal use (non-commercial), if the actual manufacturer information is not available, the shipper may be reported as the manufacturer.

Note: Even if some products/articles do not appear to require a MID based on the above instructions, the US Customs Code (HS code) of some specific products/articles may still require a Manufacturer Identification Code (MID).here You can query the HS codes of textile and clothing products that require MID code information.

3. If payment is required by the recipient, we strongly recommend that customers provide the recipient's US tax ID number.
