Singapore to increase goods and services tax (GST) rates from January 1, 2023 and January 1, 2024

From January 1, 2023, the Singapore Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate for ancillary services in Singapore will be increased from 7% to 8%. From January 1, 2024, the GST rate will be further increased from 8% to 9%.

The changes are in line with the tax law changes recently announced by Singapore's Finance Minister to support healthcare spending and care for Singapore's elderly.

The following GST rates will apply to all customers who carry out ancillary services in Singapore, and domestic delivery charges that are currently subject to 7% GST, including payees invoiced outside and within Singapore.
