SUSPENSION OF "IMPORT EXPRESS PRODUCT" (PAKISTAN-BASED IMPORTERS
BILLED IN PAKISTAN) AND RESTRICTION ON OUTBOUND SHIPMENTS TO A MAXIMUM OF 7O KG PER SHIPMENT FROM MARCH 15 2023
From March 15, 2023, Pakistan will suspend the "import express service" (importers in Pakistan settle payments within the country) and limit the export of goods to no more than 70 kilograms per ticket.
Dear Customer,
As you may be aware, in recent months, Pakistani regulators have imposed restrictions on outbound remittances by foreign companies operating in Pakistan. In the case of DHL Express, remittances sent by DHL Pakistan cover the international air, hub, port and last mile delivery costs incurred in sending/collecting shipments for customers through DHL's global network.
Affected by the above restrictions, DHL Express will not be able to continue to provide complete product services in Pakistan. From March 15, 2023, we will suspend the "Import Express Service" for all customers who pay in Pakistan, and limit the weight of their export goods to no more than 70 kg per ticket. Please note that the last pickup date is March 14, 2023, and express shipments on and before this date will continue to be delivered.
We sincerely apologize for this adjustment and understand the importance of express delivery services to your business and supply chain. We are in close contact with the authorities to restore full services in Pakistan as soon as possible.
