INTRODUCTION OF DHL EXPRESS DEMAND SURCHARGE

At DHL Express, we pride ourselves on our global network, our local knowledge, and our ability to offer a reliable delivery service. To maintain this high level of service, we must remain agile and resilient as we successfully navigate the ebbs and flows of global trade volume.
为了确保在高需求时期的运营连续性，我们将从2024 年 9 月 15 日至 2025 年 1 月 31 日期间（此为预计收取期间，如有调整，将提前 30 天在 DHL 快递官网公示）收取需求附加费。需求附加费将适用于 DHL 国际限时快递产品（包括环球快递、朝九特派、十点半特派、正午特派、子母运单快递、医疗快递、易递箱）。届时客户发件将额外按实上述期间（包括其可能的调整）的需求附加费。
To ensure operational continuity during a period of high demand, we will be activating a Demand Surcharge effective 15 September 2024 until 31 January 2025 (This is the expected collection period. If there were any adjustments on such expected collection period, the advance 30 days’ notice will be available on the DHL Express website). The Demand Surcharge will be levied on DHL Express Worldwide, DHL Express 12:00, DHL Express 10:30, DHL Express 9:00, DHL Medical Express, DHL Breakbulk Express, DHL Express Easy shipments. Customers delivering the shipments during this above period and its adjustment (if any) will be deemed to accept the Demand Surcharge for the above period and its adjustment (if any).

During periods of high demand, the shipment volume materially exceeds DHL’s base level of network capacity. In addition to that, recent years have seen global trade becoming increasingly unpredictable, volatile and challenging. Introducing the Demand Surcharge allows us to allocate additional resource and capacity where needed to accommodate these global dynamics which enables us to continue delivering the excellent service to you and your customers during such periods. And the Demand Surcharge supports the recovery of the costs associated with managing a more dynamic global network.

The Demand Surcharge, also referred to as Peak Season Surcharge, is a commonly applied extra charge in the logistics industry and has been for many years.

需求附加费将按照始发地和目的地，以人民币每公斤计费。 需求附加费的具体收费标准和金额请查询 DHL 快递官网。请注意，需求附加费将包含在燃油附加费的基数内。
The Demand Surcharge will apply per shipment in RMB per kg according to the origin and destination. Please refer to the DHL Express website for specific charging standards and amount for the Demand Surcharge. Please note that Fuel Surcharge is applicable to the Demand Surcharge.
DHL 保留根据需要修改需求附加费的收费金额和适用日期的权利。任何关于需求附加费金额或适用日期的相关修改会提前 30 天在 DHL 快递官网公示，您还可以通过 DHL 快递官网随时获知有关需求附加费的最新信息及费用计算方式：Website | DHL Express | https://mydhlplus.dhl.com/cn/zh/ship/surcharges。
DHL reserves the right to modify charge amounts and dates of application for the Demand Surcharge as needed.
