As the peak shipping season approaches, our goal is to ensure that your shipping needs are fully met while you continue to enjoy our timely, predictable, high-quality service. Due to the increase in transportation demand, we will continue to charge Peak Service Fees1 for some export and import shipments in the Asia-Pacific region. Fuel surcharges will also apply to this charge, which is charged based on the billable weight of the shipment. Starting September 22, 2024, UPS will adjust the Peak Service Fees for some shipments based on market conditions. See the table below for details. Please note that Peak Service Fees are subject to adjustment. Shippers should check the latest Peak Service Fees on the Regions and Rates page on UPS.com before shipping. When the following occursAll situationsFedEx will charge a designated customs clearance agent surcharge ofRMB 96 per air waybill or RMB 10.7 per kilogram, whichever is higher. This fee isThe sender bears, subject to the invoice.

1. Non-FedEx related agents: The consignee himself or his designated customs clearance agent is responsible for clearing the goods.
2. Customer agent location pickup: FedEx Express picks up the shipment at the customer's agency location and delivers the shipment to the final recipient.
3. Different customs clearance points: The customs clearance point at the recipient's location is different from the customs clearance point of the agent.

Precautions:

Please note that this additional fee may be incurred for shipments that the recipient clears by themselves. Please communicate fully with the customer before shipment. If this fee appears on the FedEx bill, the senderMust bear, and it is not disputed. FedEx has clear terms and conditions.

Demand surcharge from 5 August 2024 (Mainland China)

FedEx may impose demand surcharges during a period of increased shipping volumes, increased capacity demand, rising operating costs, and multiple pressures on the transportation network.

Starting August 5, 2024, FedEx will charge a demand surcharge for international shipments shipped at the Mainland China export rate.

Demand Surcharges will be determined by FedEx at its sole discretion and are subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the FedEx Service Guide and FedEx Standard Conditions of Carriage for the country of shipment origin. FedEx reserves the right to modify Demand Surcharges, including but not limited to rates, terms, applicable areas or any other conditions. FedEx may also cancel, modify or adjust any waiver of Demand Surcharges at its sole discretion with prior notice.

The above surcharge amounts are for reference only and may vary depending on the rate class or rate sheet you register with FedEx. To find out the actual surcharges for your shipment, log in to your FedEx account and use the Rates & Transit Times application at fedex.com. If you have any questions, please contact your local sales or customer service team.

Some of the countries listed above that are in different geographic regions may be subject to the same surcharge amount (per kg) if they are grouped into the same pricing area under any given rate sheet or price list.
